Groovin’ the Moo is coming in hot and the line-up is filled with artists that have been releasing amazing music. This year we have some big names headlining the festival, with quite a few Hottest 100 alumni bulking out the list of impressive folks coming. If you’re overwhelmed and don’t know where to start, we have you covered.
Billie Eilish
17 year old Billie Eilish has just burst into the music scene, working her way onto almost all of my playlists. Her recently released album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? has moody vibes aplenty. If her music video clips are anything to go by, the production for her set will be captivating to say the least.
Hermitude
Hermitude are returning to Groovin’ The Moo and are guaranteed to bring some high energy tracks with them. Amongst their already impressive hits like The Buzz, the Australian duo released new music earlier in the year which will be one to keep an ear out for.
Rejjie Snow
Rejjie Snow is a Dublin-born rapper who is a talented prospect. He has already toured with Madonna, worked with Kendrick Lamar, MF Doom and features Aminé on his song ‘Egyptian Luvr’. Rejjie Snow’s music is captivating and its easy to get lost in, and if you’re like me you will keep finding yourself listening to his discography over and over again.
Wafia
Yet another Triple J Hottest 100 recognised artist, Wafia’s ‘I’m Good’ came in at number 14 for 2018. Wafia’s elegant voice has brought her to collaborate with artists such as Pharrell and Ta-Ku, and her recent releases from her EP, “VIII” will be sure to get you groovin’.
