2019 Fringe Festival Review: Zach & Viggo – Thunderflop

Who: Zach & Viggo
Where: The Garden of Unearthly Delights
When: 15th – 17th March
How much: $27 – $32

At one point part way through a bit, Zach says “people often say ‘hey boys, what sort of show do you make?'” and Viggo interjects, “we have no idea!!” There is no truer encapsulation of Thunderflop. It is an absolute delight.

Zach and Viggo are an American / Norwegian comedy show who come to Adelaide after sold out tours across the US, Europe, and Australia.

Dressed in dashing red and black body suits, these two comics are extremely talented. Some jokes are simple, every time Viggo touches a glass of room temperature water he screams as if it burns him, and others more elaborate, a mime of a claw machine, yet the audience roars with laughter from start to finish.

Thunderflop is a medley of sketches, mime, and slapstick. It’s one of the most joyful shows I have seen yet.
