In 1961, Betty and Barney Hill are the first people to report being abducted by aliens in the US. Dinner Party is a short VR film exploring this abduction.
Set at a dinner party with the Hills and some of their friends, you hover above the room, looking down at the interactions between the guests. It isn’t until Betty accidentally smashes a plate that the mood shifts.
Insisting on listening to a tape recording the Hills’ hypnosis, you enter a bizarre dreamscape that follows what the Hills report happening to them once abducted by aliens. You leave this strange experience looking deep into Barney Hill’s eyes.
What on earth really just happened? Were the Hills really abducted by aliens? I am not sure. This account is creepy, keeping you spinning around in your wheely chair as your eyes attempt to drink the whole scene in.
