“The soul is healed by being with children.”
— Fyodor Dostoyevsky
These photographs were taken between 2011 and 2015 when I had the opportunity to go to Nepal. The primary purpose was bringing medical aid to Nepalese school children through the organisation Gospel for Asia. Through these experiences I have discovered a great affection and appreciation for the young children that words cannot express.
Through the medium of photography I want to encapsulate the beauty, personalities and lives of these children I have become friends with as well as convey the bond that I have formed with them. Every photo captures a joyful memory with a particular child, these are the fondest experiences I have had on these trips. I love hanging out, playing with the children, seeing them grow over the years, creating friendships and obtaining a greater appreciation of their lives.
